For more than three decades Autumn has worked as a hairstylist on Vancouver Island, forming friendships and connections that go beyond the salon. The creation of Natural Evolution is an extension of her beliefs in community, beauty and sustainability.
After years of behind the chair work , You will now often find Autumn on the salon floor, mentoring the next generation of stylists through the Skilled trades BC training program . With a passion for education and growth, she is dedicated to supporting stylists in advancing their skills, building confidence, and working toward their Red Seal certification—helping them to elevate their craft.
After facilitating thousands of transformations she is convinced that nothing has the power to transform like a truly beautiful cut & colour and is excited to pass that forward.

With over two decades in the hair industry, Marie-Line has refined her craft across Canada, bringing a depth of experience that is both rare and remarkable. Her passion for the art of hair—colouring, cutting, and styling—has continually pushed her to evolve, leading her to compete on the world stage where she ranked among the top six in Canada for colour.
Her talent has taken her behind the scenes at New York City Fashion Week, where she worked as part of the styling team, and earned her the honour of the People's Choice Award for her exceptional work. These accomplishments have drawn clients from across the country, each seeking her elevated level of artistry.
Marie-Line's extensive experience and accolades allow her to approach every client with a highly trained eye, offering deeply personalized results with an advanced level of skill, care, and creativity that is truly exceptional.

Shelina began her hairstyling education in Alberta before bringing her talents to Vancouver Island, joining the Natural Evolution team in 2021 then as a new talent stylist. Over the years, she has discovered where she truly thrives within her craft, developing a passion for short to medium-length haircuts and the art of personalizing both cuts and colour to suit each guest
Her goal is to help every client feel beautiful, confident, and completely themselves. With her bright, welcoming personality and thoughtful approach to consultation, Shelina makes it easy for guests to explore something new or refine a style they already love. Her work is a true reflection of the care, skill, and connection she brings to every appointment.

With over 25 years in the beauty industry, Rena brings a deep-rooted passion for transformation—not only in hair, but in how her clients feel when they leave her chair. With European training and a deep commitment to ongoing education, she has refined her skills to specialize in beautiful cuts, and colours.
Rena's approach is centered on creating naturally beautiful, personalized looks that enhance each individual's unique essence, all while aligning with a philosophy of sustainable beauty. Nicole joined Natural Evolution just over one year ago after graduating from the Hairstylist Program at Vancouver Island University, and she has been deeply committed to continued education ever since. With a natural affinity for hairstyling, her talent shines through in every client experience.
Known for her gentle nature and calming presence, Nicole creates a welcoming space where clients feel truly heard and cared for. She takes the time to listen closely to each guest's needs and vision, approaching every service with thoughtfulness and intention to create beautiful, flattering styles that complement each client's features and personality—something she takes great pride in.
With the support and mentorship of our advanced team, Nicole continues to grow as she works toward her Red Seal certification.
EmilyNew Talent Stylist
Emily joined Natural Evolution in 2025 after graduating from the Hairstylist Program at Vancouver Island University, years previous she completed several years of apprenticeship alongside an advanced stylist. During her time at VIU, she proudly represented her school at the Skilled Trades BC Competition, earning a silver medal for her hairstyling talents, along with the Excellence in Customer Service Award.
With a diploma in Fine Arts, Emily brings a deeper understanding of colour theory, composition, and design into her work behind the chair. She approaches hair as a true art form—seeing each client as a unique canvas and thoughtfully creating looks that enhance natural beauty and individuality.
With a strong foundation in both art and hairstyling, Emily continues to grow her skills and confidence on the salon floor. Supported by mentorship from our advanced team, she remains dedicated to ongoing education as she works toward her Red Seal certification, bringing care, creativity, and intention to every client.
